Taiwan Association for Human Rights and the International Association of Refugee and Migration Judges (IARMJ) Pay a Visit to the Judicial Yuan
Taiwan Association for Human Rights, Council Members of the International Association of Refugee and Migration Judges (IARMJ) Judge Kay Ransome and Judge Andrew Molloy jointly visited the Judicial Yuan and were received by Secretary-General San-Long Wu, in the company of Director-General Yi-Yi Chen of the Department of the Administrative Litigation and Discipline. Taiwan Association for Human Rights shared the legal and practical difficulties that they faced regarding the immigration and asylum policy and refugee issues in Taiwan. Judge Kay Ransome and Judge Andrew Molloy invited the Taiwanese judicial professionals to the international conference of IARMJ in Melbourne, Australia in November. The three parties discussed the patterns of problems in international refugees and immigrants in judicial cases. They also spoke about the opportunities for future cooperation.
