Forum on facilitating court attendance for children and juveniles in the south region
For facilitating the environment of court attendance for children and juveniles, on December 3, 2021, the Judicial Yuan held the “Forum on facilitating court attendance for children and juveniles in the south region” at Taiwan High Court Kaohsiung Branch Court. After a video remark given by Deputy Secretary-General Chou Chan-Chun, we started the learning and discussing session with the invited NGOs, demonstrating how to apply the counseling and professional resources designed for facilitating court attendance for children and juveniles. Through the session and practice, we hoped that our participants could have a better understanding of the protection for minors, especially of their right to be heard, as well as their right to access courts.
