Judge Dr. Klaus Bacher, Chief Judge of the Patent Division at the German Federal Court of Justice and Cornerstone Intellectual Property Foundation, visit the Judicial Yuan
President Hsu Tzong-Li of the Judicial Yuan receives the delegation led by the Cornerstone Intellectual Property Foundation Chairman, Dr. Paul C.B Liu, and the Chief Judge of the patent division at the German Federal Court of Justice, Judge Dr. Klaus Bacher. Justice Huang Jui-Ming, Shieh Ming-Yan, Deputy Secretary General Huang Lin-Lun, and Director-General of the Department of Administrative Litigation and Discipline, Chang Kuo-Hsuen, also join the meeting to host members of the delegation, including Judge Randall Rader, former Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Dr. Heinz Goddar, honorary professor for intellectual property law at the University of Bremen in Germany, and Professor Tamai Katsuya at the University of Tokyo. In addition, the two parties enjoy a lively discussion on the amendment and development of the Intellectual Property Case Adjudication Act in Taiwan, exchanging ideas on the practice of discovery methods, adjudication, and trade secrets protection for IP cases in various countries.
