OTA Masahiko, Professor of the University of Tokyo, and his companions, pay a visit to the Judicial Yuan
OTA Masahiko, Professor of the University of Tokyo, visited the Judicial Yuan, accompanied by Professor Tsai Maw-In at National Taiwan University, Associate Professor Lin Hsing-Ju at National Taiwan Ocean University, and Hung Chiao-Ling, Attorney-at-Law. The group received a warm meeting from President Hsu Tsung-Li, companioned by Secretary-General Lin Hui-Huang, Director-General of the Clerk Department of the Constitutional Court Hsu Chen-Chou, and Director-General of the Office of the Spokesperson Chang Yung-Hung.
In the meeting, the two parties exchanged their opinions on several issues: the authority of the Judicial Yuan, how the Constitutional Court works, and the judicial impact on our society in Taiwan and Japan. Both sides had a pleasant time together, looking forward to deepening the communication between the two countries. After the meeting, Director-General Hsu Chen-Chou and Chang Yung-Hung accompanied Prof. OTA and his campanions to tour the courtroom of the Constitutional trial and the conference room for the Justice.
