Justices of the Taiwan Constitutional Court Led the Delegation of the Judges Association of ROC (Taiwan) to the 64th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Judges in Israel.
During September 17th to 23rd, Justice Jui-Ming HUNAG of the Taiwan Constitutional Court (TCC) led the delegation of the Judges Association (Taiwan) to attend the 64th annual meeting of the International Association of Judges (IAJ) at Tel Aviv, Israel. The delegation includes Justice Sheng-Lin JAN and Research Judge Hsin-Hsuan YU of the TCC, Judge Chia-Wei LAN from the Department of Judicial Administration at the Judicial Yuan, Judge Chun-Li HUNG from the Taiwan High Court, Judge Yi-Lun LIN and Judge Kai-Chieh HSU from the Taiwan Taipei District Court, and Judge Yen-Chih CHEN from the Taiwan Changhua District Court.
Taiwan’s participation in IAJ’s meeting yields fruitful exchanges between Taiwanese judiciaries and judges from other countries. Justice HUANG delivered a speech in the meeting of the IAJ Central Council, introducing Taiwan’s judicial system and its determination in safeguarding judicial independence. He also invited IAJ members to attend next year’s meeting, which will be hosted by the Judges Association of ROC (Taiwan) in Taipei, Taiwan.
