The Korean Association of Women Judges Pays a Visit to the Judicial Yuan
On January 17, 2025, a delegation of seven judges from the Korean Association of Women Judges (KAWJ), led by President Jung Min Kim, paid a visit to the Judicial Yuan. The delegation was received by Deputy Secretary-General Mei-Ying Wang, accompanied by Director General Yi-Yi Chen of the Department of Administrative Litigation and Discipline, Director General and Spokesperson Ting-Yu Chen of the Public Information Department, Research Judge Yi-Yi Lee of the Clerk Department of the Constitutional Court, Presiding Judge Chyi Chiu of the Taiwan High Court, Judge Yi-Ju Hu of the Taiwan High Court Taichung Branch, and Division-Chief Judge Li-Ling Lee of the Taiwan Taipei District Court. During the meeting, both sides discussed judicial issues relevant to Korea and Taiwan. They also marked a historic moment, as all the attendees were female judges. The atmosphere was warm and cordial throughout the exchange.
