The Judicial Yuan Held a Seminar on Civil Litigation in Taiwan and Japan to Learn from the Japanese Experiences to Accelerate the Digitalization of Litigation and Improve Trial Efficiency
Prof. Dr. Masahisa Deguchi at the Faculty of Law, Ritsumeikan University, accompanied by Distinguished Professor Kuan-Ling Shen at the National Taiwan University, visited the Judicial Yuan on March 27, 2024, and was received by President Tzong-Li Hsu, in the company of Deputy Secretary-General Lin-Lun Huang, President of the Taiwan High Court Jin-Zhi Gao, Deputy Director-General of the Civil Department Ya-Chin Tao and Judge Yu-Jia Zhang.
Right after the visit, Prof. Dr. Masahisa Deguchi gave a keynote speech at the Judicial Yuan International Seminar on Civil Litigation. This session was hosted by Deputy Secretary-General Lin-Lun Huang and joined by Distinguished Professor Kuan-Ling Shen as the discussant.
