Chair for Public, European and International Law at University of Bonn Matthias Herdegen Pays a Visit to the Judicial Yuan
Chair for Public, European and International Law at University of Bonn (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn) Matthias Herdegen was invited to Taiwan by the Judicial Yuan and National Chengchi University. He visited the Judicial Yuan in the company of Associate Professor Chen Ching-Hui at the College of Law, National Chengchi University, and was received by President Hsu Tzong-Li, accompanied by Vice President Tsai Jeong-Duen and Justice Hsu Chih-Hsiung. President Hsu first welcomed the guests and then introduced the roles and responsibilities of the Judicial Yuan. After the introduction, Professor Herdegen gave a keynote speech titled “The Role of the Constitutional Jurisdiction: Current Challenges with Special Attention on Acceptance of Constitutional Complaints”.
