Professor Lawrence Lessig at Harvard Law School Visits the Judicial Yuan
Professor Lawrence Lessig at Harvard Law School, accompanied by Professor Liu Ching-Yi at the Graduate Institute of National Development, National Taiwan University, visited the Judicial Yuan and was received by President Hsu Tzong-Li, in the company of Vice President Tsai Jeong-Duen and Justice Huang Horng-Shya. President Hsu first introduced the roles and responsibilities of the Judicial Yuan, and then exchanged opinions on the system of constitutional interpretation with the guests. Both sides wish there would be more opportunities for communication in the future. The visit was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. After the meeting, Professor Lessig gave a speech on theories of constitutional interpretation and visited the Constitutional Court.
