The Judicial Yuan held the “2023 Children's Rights Month Seminar – the Developments of Theories and Practices of Juvenile Justice in Taiwan and Japan”
To respond to the new judicial systems, including the procedure before transferring juveniles to the juvenile court, victim participation and rights protection, the Judicial Yuan held the “2023 Children's Rights Month Seminar – the Developments of Theories and Practices of Juvenile Justice in Taiwan and Japan” on November 17-18, 2023. The Judicial Yuan President Hsu Tzong-Li and Secretary-General Wu San-Long addressed the seminar respectively. They hoped that the discussions and exchanges between scholars of the two countries about the theories and practices could be used for reference to improve the policy and operation of juvenile justice in Taiwan.
